October 2010 will see the opening of the new Acacia Ridge YMCA Gymnastics centre. The $1.2 million centre will be the new home of the Y-South Gymnastics club which has been in operation in the Acacia Ridge Community since 1979. The club which caters for 230+ gymnasts per week will be able to meet the needs of its expanding membership base which is currently limited by space restrictions. The new state of the art facility will be 650 square metres in size and house a full sized competitive sprung floor and a training pit.
