Enoggera YMCA Receives $29 997 in Funding
Thanks to the Queensland Governments Gambling Community Benefit fund, the Enoggera YMCA has secured $29 997 of funding to expand their training facilities to meet the demand of the expanding gymnastics membership base. Funds will be used to expand the 1/2 sized sprung floor to a full sized competitive sprung floor as well as providing additional safety matting around the training apperatus of the facility. The project will be complete by the 7th of July 2009 all ready for Term 3, 2009.
Gambling Community Grant for Y-South
Y-South gymnastics has been successful in receiving $18,155.00 towards purchasing safety and skills equipment for their gymnastic programmes.This equipment will greatly improve the programs run at the centre and ensure the safety of all participants.Some of the equipment that the centre has been able to buy has been new beam matting, crash mats, double mini tramp and new equipment to help with both fine and gross motor skills.
The centre is very thankful to the Gambling Community Benfit fund for providing these funds for this project and look forward to using all the new equipment to enhance their programmes.
